When everything around here turns white, the great emotion of the Val di Fassa warms up. Mountain enthusiasts come from all around to ski in Moena and in the Dolomites… always perfectly snow-covered slopes, with modern facilities for downhill skiing, various snowboard parks and cross-country skiing loops.
The perfect location for skiing
Here are some reasons that make us perfect for those who love to ski in Moena:
- we are only one kilometre away from the ski lifts for Alpe Lusia, located in the town centre in front of the Avisio stream, along the Marcialonga route
- you can meet the ski instructors directly here, when they introduce themselves to our Guests
- you can find the ski pass upon your arrival at the hotel (after purchasing it on the Dolomiti SuperSki website)
The ski areas
We are located in the middle of 3 major ski areas:
- Val di Fassa / Carezza
- Three Valleys Ski Area
- Val di Fiemme
Here there are hundreds of kilometres of slopes and various carousels, including the Sella Ronda, the Tre Valli, the Sass Becè tour, the Great War tour, the Ski Tour Panorama, the Latemar / Obereggen and the Cermis.
Try the “Three Valleys” area: from Moena to Passo San Pellegrino, from Bellamonte to Passo Valles and from Passo San Pellegrino to Lusia, a hundred kilometres of slopes await you: very exciting!

Cross-country
Lovers of cross-country skiing will certainly know Moena through one of its symbols, given that the Marcialonga (last Sunday in January) has been a firmly established reference point for several decades.
Not only skiing
Moena in winter has something even for those who don’t ski: just mention snowshoeing (excursions with traditional snowshoes), skating and trips on horse-drawn carriages to get them excited.
